The newest addition to the collection, the Kingfisher has already appeared at festivals, family celebrations, school projects, business events and community engagement initiatives. This much loved bird appeals to a wide range of audiences by inspiring conversations about the natural world, rivers, environmental issues and the joy of spotting incredible wildlife.
The Lion

The Fetch created the giant lion puppet as part of a cultural regeneration project in Leominster, funded by Historic England. The nine foot lion walks and roars, and over 100 school children from Earl Mortimer College helped to paint him. The lion has visited many events already, including Jubilee celebrations with the monk Edfrith, whose legendary dream about a lion may or may not have led to the founding of Leominster. The lion lives in Leominster Priory as he takes up too much space in the studio, and is available to hire.

The Lugg Maiden

The Lugg Maiden was created to celebrate the Herefordshire folk talk about a mermaid and a church bell that disturbed her sleep. Half woman, half pike, the Lugg Maiden is available for parades and fish-making workshops can be included.

The Heron

The Heron arrived 2025, and has been stretching its legs out and about at a lantern parade. It pops up at various wildlife and garden events and there are plans for a baby addition to accompany it... (shhh, you heard it here first!). It could also bring along a puppet making workshop if you wanted one.

Giant Insects

A giant dragonfly, ant, butterfly, dung beetle and hosts of bees are a brilliant addition to any outdoor event, and were seen in summer 2024 at the Chelsea Flower Show at the request of the Royal Entemological Society, who used the event to highlight the importance of insects to our lives.

These insects are available to hire, and a scrunch puppet workshop could be included.

The Shark

From the deep, the shark boldly swims around its audience to celebrate amazing sea life and can be an attention seeking advocate for marine conservation and environmental awareness, or just great fun at festivals and events!

Lantern Making Workshops

The fetch offer workshops for lantern making and lit up parades with giant puppets - perfect for the darker evenings. Co-created giant lanterns are also a great way to bring a community event together.
